Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager to oversee sales operations and purchasing activities within the flooring industry. Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this role involves driving customer relationships, managing purchase orders, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in sales strategies and purchasing processes. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Manage and oversee purchasing activities, including the creation and tracking of purchase orders. - Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials. - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. - Conduct regular sales reporting and analysis to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed. - Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their sales and purchasing skills. - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and alignment of business goals. - Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and clients to achieve favorable terms. - Attend industry events and trade shows to expand networks and promote company offerings. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the flooring or related industry. - Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and managing purchase orders. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships. - Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. - Analytical skills to assess market trends and develop effective strategies. - Proficiency in using sales and purchasing software tools. - Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. - Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
