MEMCO SER is looking for EXPERIENCED wood framers to start working in surrounding areas of Houston ASAP!
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Wood Framer with their own tools to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wood framing techniques, be able to read blueprints, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials to build residential and/or commercial structures
Read and interpret construction blueprints and plans
Install floor joists, walls, ceilings, and roof systems
Ensure work meets all building codes and safety standards
Collaborate with other crew members and supervisors to complete projects on time
Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Proven experience as a wood framer (2+ years preferred)
Must have own hand and power tools
Ability to read and understand blueprints and framing layouts
Strong knowledge of construction safety procedures
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
Reliable transportation to job sites
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
