Job Description

We're looking for a driven and strategic Vice President of Business Development to lead the commercialization of our groundbreaking products and support the scaling of our revolutionary steelmaking technology. Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the CEO to shape the company's vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with both business and environmental impact objectives.
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, focusing on identifying new opportunities within the industry.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers while managing key client relationships.
Conduct market research and analysis to create competitive pricing strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the company to ensure alignment with business goals.
Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns and represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Stay informed on the latest industry trends and competitors to continually position the company for success.
Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics (Graduate degree preferred).
A minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in business development, ideally in the metals industry.
Proven success in commercializing new products within a startup environment.
Expertise in creating effective go-to-market strategies.
Experience with joint venture agreements and project financing is a plus.
A solid track record of leadership within the steel or commodity sectors.
Exceptional skills in identifying and validating new business opportunities, and building strong business cases.
A consultative sales approach with excellent listening and relationship-building abilities.
An entrepreneurial mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a team.
Work Location & Schedule:

On-site in Conroe, TX (near Houston), with the possibility of a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
