Peirano Estate Vineyards is a family owned vineyard located in Acampo, CA. It is a 300 acre estate with some of the oldest zinfandel vines in the region dating back over 120 years. We are currently looking for a personable, energetic, & enthusiastic candidate to assist in the tasting room.
Experience in the wine industry is preferred. Seeking someone who is willing to be a team player & can assist with the daily functions of the Tasting Room. Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently. Job requirements: - Knowledge of our wines profiles and awards to inform customers . - Follow ABC laws to promote a responsible hospitality. - Maintain a positive attitude by providing exceptional service while managing multiple tasting groups. - Put together cases & load products into customers vehicles. - Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Restocking wine pallets into stockroom once a week. - Keep work station clean & sanitary at all times. - Promote and upsell wines, and unique products in a friendly and approachable manner. - Assemble and present small bite items for guests in compliance with food safety guidelines. - Operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy, including processing transactions and reconciling the cash register. - Be a flexible and supportive team player, willing to fill in where necessary.
