Position Overview

Global Team Staffing is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Rock Truck Driver for client in Adamsville. The Rock Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a haul truck to transport dirt, rock, and other materials across the landfill site in support of daily operations. This role requires attention to safety, equipment care, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a rock truck/haul truck to move dirt, gravel, rock, and other materials within the landfill.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and landfill regulations.
• Assist with site grading, cover operations, and other landfill support tasks as directed.
• Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or site hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain accurate daily equipment logs and reports.
• Work collaboratively with site staff, equipment operators, and supervisors to ensure efficient landfill operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment or haul/rock trucks (landfill or construction experience a plus).

Strong focus on safety and compliance.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically able to climb, sit for extended periods, and perform minor maintenance tasks.

Work Environment

• Outdoor landfill site environment with exposure to dirt, dust, odors, and changing weather.
• Requires use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and reflective vest.

Schedule & Pay
