Are you ready for winter fun under the Northern Lights? Anchorage offers an abundance of winter activities including ski resorts, hiking, snowmobiling and snowshoe softball (yes, that is a real thing). + Next start date is 12/8 with future start dates in Jan and Feb + 3x12.5hr shifts - must be flexible on shift times + $3375/wk for Travelers Requirements + 2+yrs of recent psych experience + Inpatient/high acuity psych experience + Active Alaska RN license (Alaska is NOT part of the compact so this must be in hand) The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse,requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise.PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition tothe assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance usedisorders. The nurse demonstratesability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner anddemonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination ofpatient care. The PMH RN works in avariety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families,and communities when applicable.
