Job Description

As a Post Office Attendant/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with various postal services. Duties include sorting and processing packages, selling postage, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. You will also manage cash transactions and ensure the security and confidentiality of all postal materials. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with mail and package transactions
• Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail
• Process postage and package shipments
• Handle cash and operate a cash register
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic math
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus
