*This is a remote position, but we are currently only able to hire within the U.S.

Salary: $72,000 – $78,000 + Benefits

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paid Search Marketing Manager with demonstrated expertise in campaign management platforms. In this role, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns for a portfolio of national and multi-location brands, ensuring they meet performance goals and deliver measurable ROI.

The ideal candidate is a performance-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, has a deep understanding of direct-response campaigns, and knows how to leverage automation and data to drive efficiency and scale.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute high-performing paid search campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  • Implement and adjust strategies to achieve performance objectives, optimize budgets, and maximize ROI.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and apply industry best practices to improve account performance.

Optimization & Performance Management

  • Monitor campaign results daily, ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Use automation and reporting tools to streamline workflows and uncover performance insights.
  • Conduct A/B testing and data-driven optimizations across keywords, ad copy, and bidding strategies.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary paid search contact for assigned clients, providing proactive recommendations and strategic guidance.
  • Deliver performance reports and insights during weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to integrate PPC learnings into broader marketing strategies.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Use analytics tools to compile actionable reports with clear takeaways for clients and internal teams.
  • Present campaign results with a focus on business impact, growth opportunities, and next steps.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4+ years of PPC campaign management experience (1–2 years for mid-level consideration).
  • Strong track record in direct-response, performance-based marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and vlookups.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred

  • Experience with display and paid social campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Local Inventory Ads.
  • Previous agency experience.
  • Relevant certifications (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads).
  • Experience with Search Ads 360.
