SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for coordinating and providing diagnostic imaging services for clinical diagnosis and documentation, ophthalmic procedures, surgery, and research.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Two Years of satisfactory, full-time work experience under ophthalmologic or optometric supervision, performing ophthalmic photography & OCT. Will provide on job training if the applicant has experience in various capacities within the photographic field.

  • Certification as a Retinal Photographer (CRA) required within 3 years of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S)

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Optical Coherence Tomographer-Certified preferred.

  • Certification for Diabetic Retinopathy Study Type clinical research protocols preferred.
