The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Mail Messenger. Under general supervision, this position will pick up and deliver U.S. and inter-office mail from various downtown locations and serve as receiving officer for certified, registered, and express mail. The position will take action to ensure the receipt, transport, and delivery of the Department’s security mail and materials and will sort, label, package, and distribute Department communications to staff. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented and interested in playing a supporting role in the Department’s operations.
