Salesforce Administrator – Job Description Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for user management, data integrity, automation, and ensuring that Salesforce supports the organization’s business objectives effectively. Key Responsibilities Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings. Perform configuration tasks including fields, page layouts, record types, objects, workflows, validation rules, and flows. Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and custom views to support business insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions. Maintain data integrity through regular audits, data deduplication, and imports/exports using Data Loader or similar tools. Implement automation using Process Builder, Flows, and Approval Processes. Provide user support, training, and documentation to ensure Salesforce adoption. Monitor platform performance, releases, and new features to recommend improvements. Support integrations with third-party applications (e.g., marketing automation, ERP). Assist with testing, deployment, and change management processes. Required Skills & Qualifications 2–5 years of Salesforce Administration experience. Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM architecture and configuration. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience. Proficiency in creating and managing reports, dashboards, workflows, and flows. Knowledge of data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard). Experience with security and compliance (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules). Familiarity with AppExchange apps and third-party integrations. Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Good to Have Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant). Exposure to Apex basics or understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle. Experience with MuleSoft, API integrations, or middleware tools. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Trello).
