The Investment Analyst (multiple openings) at MPG Operations LLC in New York, NY will build and maintain detailed models with earnings estimates. Communicate discrepancies between estimates and consensus estimates. Expand the team's coverage. Present new investment ideas to the team on a monthly basis. Maintain a mock portfolio consisting of long and short bank ideas. Provide daily reports to the portfolio team on relevant news, company filings, sell-side research, and other macro data that can influence investmentideas across the portfolio. Maintain active dialogue with sell-side analysts and buy-side peers. Communicate thoughts on positioning and crowding to the portfolio manager. Maintain strong relationships with bank management teams and investor relations. Use data from sources including Visible Alpha, Bloomberg, and SNL Financial to build fundamental screens to identify opportunities for thematic tilts in the bank portfolio. Telecommuting permissible. Requires occasional travel to attend industry conferences throughout the UnitedStates. This position may involve work at unanticipated Millennium locations in the United States. Salary: $179,088 - $200,000 per year.Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field, plus 4 years in a professional quantitative analyst, or related, occupation in the financial or investment industry.
