Job Description



We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join the Finerty Team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong foundation in finance or economics and a desire to grow within a dynamic investment environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct investment research and analysis to support client portfolio decisions.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and performance summaries using Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, and Excel.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate investment opportunities and monitor market trends.
  • Maintain and update financial models, tracking systems, and investment documentation.
  • Assist with client portfolio reviews and proposals.
  • Perform due diligence on investment products and third-party managers.
  • Monitor macroeconomic indicators and assess their impact on investment strategy.
  • Draft internal memos and summaries for investment committee discussions.
  • Coordinate with compliance and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity.
  • Draft and execute trades and banking transactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in investment analysis or financial services.
  • The FINRA Series 65 license will be required
  • A CFA designation or active progress towards achieving the CFA designation is required.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI. Familiarity with Morningstar Direct and Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
