Job Overview

TWC Management is seeking an experienced and highly motivated  General Manager to lead the operations of our  Holiday Inn Express property, part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts family. This is a permanent, on-site leadership role responsible for driving guest satisfaction, maintaining brand compliance, optimizing financial performance, and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate brings strong operational expertise, proven leadership, and a passion for delivering the quality and consistency expected of the Holiday Inn brand.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Daily Operations

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring alignment with IHG and TWC Management standards.
  • Manage all departments (front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, etc.) to ensure efficient, high-quality service.
  • Serve as the primary contact for guests, staff, and corporate leadership, embodying the Holiday Inn service culture.
  • Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, safety policies, and local regulations.

Team Development & Culture

  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain a motivated and service-driven team.
  • Lead by example to foster a positive, team-oriented workplace.
  • Conduct regular coaching, performance evaluations, and recognition programs.
  • Ensure all team members are trained on IHG service standards and operational protocols.

Financial Performance & Revenue Management

  • Develop and manage the property’s budget, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor key financial metrics (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, GOP) and implement strategies to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with sales and revenue management teams to drive market share and increase profitability.
  • Maintain strict cost control measures across all departments.

Guest Satisfaction & Brand Standards

  • Ensure consistent delivery of an exceptional guest experience in line with Holiday Inn brand expectations.
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback via Medallia, IHG systems, and online platforms.
  • Implement service recovery procedures and lead continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conduct regular property walks to maintain cleanliness, functionality, and brand compliance.

Strategic Planning & Corporate Collaboration

  • Partner with TWC Management and IHG to align property goals with broader organizational objectives.
  • Execute local sales strategies, community engagement initiatives, and IHG promotional programs.
  • Prepare and present operational and financial reports as required.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of General Manager experience, preferably with IHG or in a branded, limited- or select-service hotel.
  • Demonstrated success in managing hotel operations, financial results, and guest satisfaction metrics.
  • Familiarity with IHG systems (Opera, Merlin, Concerto, Holidex, etc.) is strongly preferred.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
