Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fence and Carpentry Specialist to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building, installing, repairing, and maintaining fences, gates, and a variety of wooden structures. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of fencing (wood, vinyl, chain link, metal).

• Perform custom carpentry work including decks, gates, trellises, pergolas, and other wooden structures.

• Measure and layout fence lines and carpentry projects based on blueprints or instructions.

• Operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Dig post holes and set fence posts.

• Inspect sites to determine material needs, access issues, or potential challenges.

• Follow safety standards and local building codes.

• Work independently or with a team to complete projects on time and within budget.

• Communicate with clients or supervisors regarding progress and project specifications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fencing and general carpentry.

• Ability to read construction drawings and plans.

• Proficient in the use of carpentry tools and equipment.

• Basic math skills and understanding of measurements and geometry.

• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or certifications are a plus).
