Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is seeking a Direct Hire Die Set Technician on either 2nd or 3rd shift for a local company. This person will be responsible for the set up and tear down of powder metal presses. They are looking for an experience die setter who has the experience and ability to follow instructions, prints and process specifications; set up machines and make adjustments as needed.
Hours:
- 2nd Shift Monday – Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm plus overtime as required
- 3rd Shift Sunday – Thursday 11:00pm – 7:00am plus overtime as required
Pay: $24.00/hr plus a 5% shift premium when working on the off shifts
Responsibilities:
- Set-up machines and make adjustments
- Perform density checks prior to production runs and monitor production runs
- Knowledge of setting up and operating all equipment in the department including automated lines
- Perform necessary recordkeeping and paperwork
Qualifications:
- Previous Die Set experience
- Solid work history and attendance record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs
- Ability to work overtime when required
