We offer ongoing training and development opportunities for licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members, and have best in class clinical resources for training, education, and point of care support. **How you make a difference** The Dentistis responsible forprovidingdental services to inmate patients within the institution they are assigned to, while adhering to the security regulations of the facility. Theyare required tomaintainaccurateandtimelydocumentation of their services and provide it to the director or designee to ensure compliance with clientcontractand proper compensation for servicesrendered. **Key Responsibilities** + Provides dental care and treatment to referred patientsin accordance withfacility regulations and standards. + Performs routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed. + Evaluates patients' dental care needs and makes clinicallyappropriate recommendations. + Takes impressions for dental appliances and instructs patients in good dental hygiene techniques. + Maintainsaccurateand confidential patient records andprovidesin-service training for health staff members. **Additional Details** This position will help provide coverage in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria **Qualifications & Requirements** Education + Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine. Experience + One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.
