Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have had some exposure with Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP and/or Azure), and be proficient in Java and SQL. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven applications and systems to support our growing modernization needs. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable platform native applications. + Utilize cloud platforms (Snowflake, DataBricks, AWS, GCP) to build and manage scalable and performant applications. + Collaborate with Sr. Engineers and Architects to develop and deploy applications to cloud platforms. + Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java. + Develop and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis. + Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. + Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. **Qualifications:** + Exposure to Snowflake - Native App Framework a plus. + Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure). + Programming Languages: Strong skills in Java and SQL. + Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. + Must be located in Eastern, Central or Mountain Time Zone. **Soft Skills:** + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. + Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). + Knowledge of agile development methodologies. + Experience with additional cloud platforms such as DataBricks. **Primary Location City/State:** Homebased - Conway, Arkansas **Additional Locations (if applicable):** Acxiom is an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status (EOE/Vet/Disabled) and does not discriminate in recruiting, hiring, training, promotion or other employment of associates or the awarding of subcontracts because of a person's race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, protected veteran, military status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics or other protected status.
