Summary

We have a teacher who is leaving the field of early childhood, so we have a full-time position for our Little Lambs infant program. Children in this group are between 8 months in age to approximately 14 months of age. The program has a maximum of 10 children; however we have part-time staff to assist throughout the day, putting 3 teachers in the program and reducing the teacher to child ratio. This allows the teachers to spend some one on one time with the children in a less stressful environment. Teachers also share an early and late shift. Hours are 7:30 - 3:30 and 8:15 - 5:15. An hour lunch is given for the shift of 8:15 to 5:15. If a lunch hour is not needed, hours may be flexible. Looking for candidate to start in June or July

Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• weekly curriculum planning
• maintain a safe, clean and organized environment
• interact with children to help build self-esteem
• assist children in reaching developmental milestones to prepare them for our older infant classroom

Requirements

Education and experience are a must for this position since we are licensed by the State of NH.

• A minimum of 9 credits for Associate Teacher
• A minimum of 18 credits for Lead Teacher
• 3 credits must be in Child or Human Growth & Development

About Us

RainbowLand was founded in 1999 and is a licensed facility through the State of New Hampshire. We are open throughout the year from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday. We have been in business for 24 years. Owner is a part of the work force. She works along side her teachers every day to help and support the staff in any way possible. She believes in being the substitute teacher when necessary. We believe in smaller ratios when humanly possible, infants and toddler classes are the perfect example. We have individual classrooms for each age.

RainbowLand educates children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Although the center is equipped and licensed for a total of 105 children, we only enroll approximately 80 to ensure the highest quality of education and personal attention.
